Minor Procedures & Day Surgery

Minor surgical procedures performed in-clinic under local anaesthesia — same-day, no hospital admission required. From lump excisions and abscess drainage to trigger-finger release and ingrown-toenail resection.

Procedures We Perform

Excision of Lumps & Bumps

Removal of sebaceous cysts, lipomas and other benign skin lesions. Local anaesthetic, one clinic visit, histology sent when indicated.

Incision & Drainage of Abscess

Prompt drainage of skin abscesses under local anaesthesia — significant relief within minutes, plus wound packing and follow-up dressing changes.

Toilet & Suture of Lacerations

Wound cleaning, exploration and suturing for cuts and lacerations — typically 15-30 minutes in-clinic, with tetanus and antibiotic cover as appropriate.

Wound Care & Dressings

Regular dressing changes, wound review and infection management for post-operative, chronic or slow-healing wounds.

Removal of Sutures

Post-operative suture and staple removal, wound inspection and clearance to return to normal activity.

Nail Avulsion / Ingrown Toenail

Partial or full nail-plate removal for painful ingrown toenails under digital block anaesthesia. Immediate pain relief and definitive treatment.

Trigger Finger Release

In-clinic release of the A1 pulley for trigger finger that hasn't responded to cortisone injection — small incision under local anaesthesia.

Carpal Tunnel Release

Open carpal tunnel release under local anaesthesia for confirmed carpal tunnel syndrome that hasn't responded to conservative treatment.
