About

Dr Krishmen Rasu is a Sport & Exercise Medicine trained doctor. His practice centres on musculoskeletal injury management, sporting injury care and image-guided injection therapy.

He completed his Doctor of Medicine at The University of Melbourne in 2015, following a Bachelor of Biomedicine in 2011, and returned to Melbourne to complete a Masters of Sports Medicine in 2024.

Krishmen completed the Staff Registrar (Sport & Exercise Medicine) Training Programme at Sengkang General Hospital in 2024, and covers live sporting events alongside his clinic work.

His day-to-day toolkit spans ultrasound-guided diagnostics, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and a wide range of musculoskeletal injections.

• Intra-articular knee injections — over 1,000 cases
• Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) — around 700 cases (tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis and related tendinopathies)
• Ultrasound-guided H&L shoulder injections — around 500 cases
• PRP injections for tennis elbow, patellar tendon and Achilles tendon — around 500 cases
• Other musculoskeletal injections and procedures — around 200 cases
